My name is Miriam Mendez and I’m majoring in Psychology, hoping to become a psychiatrist one day. One interesting fact about me is I like to dye my hair a whole bunch of colors. Previously, I had black and pink hair. Now my hair is gingery orange and brownish amber. It’s better in person. The purpose of Writing in the Sciences would be to communicate any ideas to the readers about a certain topic or topics. Scientists need writing skills to accurately write out analyses and data they come across. I write when I have to, like for example when I have to do an assignment for school. I enjoy writing when the topics interest me. I enjoy writing about social justice and topics about my culture. One time I had to write for my Psychology class, and the topic was how to identify and diagnose certain people based on what you’ve learned about them and I thought that was interesting. Honestly, I don’t mind group activities. Sometimes it really depends on the group of people I work with. I do prefer teacher-centered and individual.
